Celebrating a mission-driven partnership—and a website built to help young people sweat for good.
Positive Tracks is a national nonprofit driven by a powerful belief: young people can change the world—and they deserve real opportunities to do it. Their programs help young people (ages 12–25) turn sport and movement into momentum by creating athletic challenges that raise awareness and funds for causes they care about most. That mission is exactly why we’re thrilled to share this news: the Positive Tracks website—designed and built by BLKDG—has earned Gold at the 2025 Davey Awards.
The Davey Awards celebrate standout work across digital, design, and marketing—especially the kind of big-idea creativity produced by small, expert teams. Entries are reviewed by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA). Receiving a Gold distinction is an honor we don’t take lightly, and we’re excited to celebrate it alongside the incredible Positive Tracks team.
From the start, this project wasn’t just about a new look. It was about building a digital platform that could:
As BLKDG, our goal was to create a website that felt as energizing and empowering as the Positive Tracks mission itself—while keeping the experience clear, modern, and genuinely easy to use.
BLKDG partnered with Positive Tracks to create an engaging, mission-driven website designed to amplify their reach and make participation feel approachable from the first click. The new site blends vibrant storytelling with seamless navigation, and it’s optimized for accessibility and performance across devices.
Our collaboration spanned strategy through execution, including:
In other words: a full, end-to-end partnership—built around clarity, momentum, and mission.
Awards are exciting. But the best part of recognition like this is what it represents: a team effort rooted in trust, shared goals, and a commitment to building something that works for real people.
The Davey Awards highlight excellence across websites and digital experiences, and Gold is reserved for top entries. For us, this win celebrates more than pixels—it celebrates a website designed to help Positive Tracks grow community, participation, and impact.
The Positive Tracks team brought deep purpose, sharp instincts, and an unwavering focus on the people they serve—and that clarity made every decision stronger. From early discovery conversations to the final launch details, we worked side-by-side to ensure the site wasn’t just beautiful, but useful: a platform that supports participation, helps stories travel farther, and removes friction for young people ready to take action.
This partnership was built on a shared commitment to translating real-world energy into a digital experience. That meant pressure-testing flows, prioritizing content that motivates, and designing an experience that meets users where they are—whether they’re discovering Positive Tracks for the first time, searching for a way to get involved, or coming back again to take the next step.
Just as importantly, collaboration showed up in the details: an openness to iterate, a willingness to challenge assumptions, and a steady focus on outcomes. When mission is the “why,” the website becomes the “how”—and the strongest work happens when both teams are aligned on what matters most: clarity, accessibility, and momentum.
Positive Tracks is building a movement—literally. And their website needed to be ready for the next chapter: more stories, more participants, more causes, more momentum.
We’re proud to have built a digital foundation that can scale with them—while staying true to who they are: a community that believes in the power of young people to lead change.
