Dear Jack Foundation'21
The Dear Jack Foundation supports young adult cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
Overview
Founded in July 2006 by Andrew McMahon after his own battle with leukemia, the Dear Jack Foundation (DJF) has offered support and community to young adults with cancer ever since. As the foundation has grown over the years, DJF chose BLKDG to relaunch their website to align with their expansion.

Our Role
We began the project with a comprehensive planning process that included in-depth stakeholder interviews.
From the results of this discovery and planning process, we moved on to the design process and focused on updating the website to match the scale of the foundation, which included: streamlining the navigation menu, highlighting and defining the invaluable programs DJF provides, and incorporating the sense of community throughout the whole site.
Built on a WordPress CMS, the custom website integrates directly with Classy for donations and additional marketing platforms for seamless connection with the community.
