The National Forest Foundation was chartered by Congress to rehabilitate and improve the quality of our National Forests and Grasslands.
The national resource for rebuilding and enhancing America’s public lands, the National Forest Foundation (NFF) houses innumerable resources and opportunities to get involved in restoring and improving our National Forests. As restoration projects, grant opportunities and the foundation itself have grown, NFF looked to BLKDG to redo their website to match the evolution of the foundation.
We began the project with a comprehensive planning process that included in-depth stakeholder interviews.
Influenced by the key findings of the discovery and planning process, we then started the design process by focusing on the needs of the foundation and community, which included: clearly defined navigation throughout the site; definitive regional program areas; and unique landing pages for national projects, like Treasured Landscapes and the Tree Planting program.
Built on Craft CMS, the custom website integrates directly with Classy for donations, and additional marketing platforms for seamless communication with the community.
